JUST Egg is experiencing significant growth amid market disruptions caused by recurrent avian flu outbreaks, fluctuating costs, and global supply chain challenges. Tetrick reported that JUST Egg is growing rapidly, with sales up five times compared to the previous year. Interestingly, 91% of JUST Egg consumers are not vegan or vegetarian, demonstrating its broad appeal. The product has secured extensive distribution, boasting over 40,000 points of sale across various retail and foodservice channels. With competitive pricing—often lower than cage-free eggs but higher than battery eggs—and improved sourcing strategies, JUST Egg is becoming increasingly attractive to large-scale food manufacturers as a substitute for traditional eggs. Tetrick indicated that improving production efficiency has contributed to enhanced profit margins, and that every Just Egg sold is at a positive margin.
